3. St Patrick's Livesey Street Baptism Register 1832-1860
Contains scanned copies of the original baptism register for the period 2 Mar 1832 to 30 Dec 1860.
4. St. Patrick's, Livesey Street Burial Register
The plot on which St Patrick's chapel was established in 1832 was big enough to include a sizeable graveyard. It soon became the focal point for the burial of Catholics over much of North Manchester, even as far afield as Openshaw.
The period covered in this Index from May 1832 to June 1858, when burials ceased. The entries total 27,094. As well as the name of the deceased and the date of burial, the cause of death (usually in colloquial, not medical language) and address are given in many entries. A considerable number of the deceased do not appear in GRO Death Indexes, even as late as 1857.
5. St. Mary's, Mulberry Street, Manchester, Baptism Register 1820-1831
Baptismal Registers began in 1794. This CD ROM contains scanned images of the Second Register and an index, together with a short history of the parish and a catalogue extract giving references for the parish registers which are kept at Lancashire Record Office.
6. Lancashire Catholic Wills 1492-1894
Over 4000 wills are included and the Index shows the names of nearly 50,000 testators, beneficiaries, family members and witnesses. In addition, wherever possible, the reputed Roman Catholic Status of the testators and others has been confirmed by reference to other sources such as parish registers and Returns of Papists, which are also noted in the Index.
7. St. Anne's, Junction Street, Ancoats, Manchester 1848-1874
Contains both a transcript and scanned copies of the original baptism register from 18 June 1848 to 4 January 1875. Register entries were in the form birth date, baptism date, child's full name, father's Christian name, mother's full maiden name, 1st godparent's full name, 2nd godparent's full name. All the names are included in the Indexed. After Jan 1856m the names were mostly entered in Latin; they appear in the index translated into their English equivalents. The original registers are deposited at the Lancashire Record Office.
(More of these will be added as they become available)

Manchester and Lancashire Family History Society publications
The account book of Casey's Charity - an indexed transcript 1794-1847 with an index of 13,000 names.
Casey's Charity was established by the will of John Casey, an Irish linen merchant who lived for many years in Manchester but retired to Chester where he died on 13 September 1792. He left a sum of £540 (to which a further £300 was added in 1795 on the death of his son), the interest from which was to be applied to the relief of the poor Catholics of Manchester.
The account book, which covers 1794 to 1847, lists the recipients of payments from the fund and the sums given. In a few cases, a street address is given but mostly the information is limited to names only. Many of these names, as might be expected, appear to refer to Irish men and women. A few Italian surnames also appear.
